On-Campus Resources
In addition to online resources, NC State offers a wide variety of resources for students on campus, including:
Office of International Students (OIS) Programs: The OIS offers numerous opportunities to get involved on campus, such as the English Conversation Club, the International Friendship Program, and the Breaking Bread Program. All the opportunities are listed on the right-hand side of the page.
Undergraduate Tutorial Center (UTC): The UTC provides one-on-one peer tutoring for class assignments in a range of subjects. Specifically, writing tutors are available to provide feedback on your writing at any stage of the writing process—planning, drafting, revising, or editing. The tutorial center is located in Park Shops, with additional (but limited) satellite and online tutoring.
Cultural Exchange Network (CENet): This program hosts activities throughout the semester—social, academic, and service activities—where you can meet people, practice English, and get involved with the Raleigh community.
NCSU Counseling Center: The Counseling Center is free to all NCSU students and provides confidential counseling services for any concerns or struggles you may be facing. Remember that it is okay to seek counseling! Many students and even professors seek counseling for one reason or another.
